Just a quickie

As I'm using dial-up which is incredibly, annoyingly slow.

I just thought I'd let you know about something.A copy of Pelham, recorded from TV,sold on E-bay a couple of days ago for 80.Don't know about anyone else, but it made me cross.

Oh, my...
A quickie with Mr. Blue?? Where do I sign up???

It makes me cross, too, Eliza. The VDO Love should be spread freely and not for profit!!

That's the best quickie I ever had...now: how much did it sell for??? $80? To anonymous...it's a rip off, that's why!

He really smoulders as Blue, doesn't he?
Can never work out why I find him so sexy in this when the character is actually everything I dislike in a man ( person, really)
I'm obviously more shallow than I thought

Hi Eliza,

Be sure and check out the "The ReelVincent D'Onofrio" website. I located a website (Turner Classic Movies) where you can vote to have a movie you're looking for be put into DVD format. TCM website has almost all of the VDO hard to find movies listed. Now we just need to vote to get them on to DVD.
I posted the info on lljudge's website.

anonymous:It made me cross because it's a rip-off! Pelham is on TV over here fairly regularly, for instance it was on last week and it will be on next week(15th) too.

I should add that I'm sure the seller got a nice surprise as it actually started out at a reasonable price.Just goes to show that it's never worth getting into a bidding war, they get out of control.

It mystifies me why the folks who own the rights to these types of films don't organise some way to either release them on DVD, or make them available for legitimate web download.

There are some real jerks out there!! Like that idiot that advertised thereels pictures for sale on a disc at Ebay, which resulted in us now getting them all watermarked. Most fans are happy to share what they have but yes, you're right Finn, if the movie companies would make ALL of his work available through legitimate sellers, there'd be no need for people to have to stump up wads of cash for what will probably be a third rate copy from the TV. *Steps down from soapbox* Great pix tho' Eliza. He looks so damn cool in 'Pelham' :-)
