Eliza - I love it when you are bored!!!! It's weird though; in "person of interest" when he punches the board, it looks like he made hard contact w/ it, but it doesn't look like he actually hits it at all in this clip!
The little dancie thing really kills me. My hubby always says, quoting Deacon from ep #1, "Oh look, the Goren show is back in town!"
Takes a lot of energy to hit it as hard as that-I bet he went ouch afterwards because it looked like it hurt-feel sorry for Goren in that-but you kind of see him thinking as he actually reads the letter on the board-"did the Dr actually write this or did someone else".
you picked two of my fav scenes ever and they look fantastic :) when i first saw the board thumping i just had to rewind the tape and watch the scene over and over again. i remember thinking that vincent might have been a good fighter, because it looked like a pretty tough hit. and the next thought was: "yeah man, i know how you feel and i did exactly the same!" *lol*
