One of my all time faves too, Eliza... Angry Bobby is so very hot! The way his whole massive body shakes with rage is just... *sigh* And the husband in this episode just has to be one of the worst CI baddies ever.
tess i have been wondering for a while now. what did kate mean exactly when she said vincent was so ill? thank you for posting that. i can't figure out what she meant by that. does anyone know what she meant by that statement?
Sarah21 - he was hospitalized in 2004 a couple of times for passing out from exhaustion; although the rumour started that he passed out when he found out Bush won the election! lol That's why they hired Noth, to switch off. Unlike the other L&O shows, VDO is in nearly every scene so it's more strenuous on him.
This episode really upset me. I was with Bobby all the way when he ranted at Carver that there must have been something they could charge the husband with. I also found it totally unsatisfactory that a woman who was known to have post partem depression was locked up for 25 years, instead of receiving help.
It's certainly one of the darker episodes - and I wanted to kill the husband! - but watching Bobby get all passionate about the case (and he was so sweet with the kid in hospital) was worth all the trauma.

Mmmmmm... The spooky S4 episodes... One of my favourite seasons!
Great work, Eliza :-D
I like this episode too, but I always remember Kate saying it was very difficult to film because of the story and because Vincent was so ill.
