I loved just about everything,apart from the new music..didn't feel like CI at first.I wanted to smack the Chief of Detectives....Bobby might be a whackjob,but you don't go saying stuff like that,not when he's part of a very succesful team of detectives.Mind you, Bobby illustrating the point made me laugh out loud.Oh,and wasn't it nice to see Ross actually supporting Bobby?? Vincent & Kate both acted their socks off,just a shame we have to wait 2 weeks for the next one :-)
I meant to post this last night,but I spent so long in front of the computer yesterday that I fell asleep on the sofa :-(

I'm going to be a brave little soldier and try and download it this afternoon. The sound you will hear is probably my PC begging for mercy before it's memory bank explodes...(sorry, you know I'm such a techno-chicken!)
Well I will have to wait to review/caption it, but I am glad they did well with it anyway from all the reviews that have come up in the last 24-48 hrs on the premiere episode-the theme isn't new as such as they have decided to use Trial By Jury-I like all the themes, will miss CI's but like the C5 ones, I will get used to them.
I agree with you completely!!!!!I love this man, he is so complete!!! He and Katy were superb in the episode, the acting was top class and NBC can go to hell in a handbasket as far as I am concerned.
I hope that Vincent gets to give that nasty man a taste of his own medicine over the "whack Job" comment.

Wonderful engrossing episode! Let's hope USA will promote Vinnie, Kate, and the show for Emmys this year.
The reworked title theme was the worst thing about Trial By Jury and it hasn't gotten any better here. Bleeeeaaaahh! Let it die, die, DIE!!! (If they want to reuse Trial By Jury, why not cameos from the wonderful (lady) DAs from that show?) I liked the moving visual effects on the stills, though.
Awesome acting from Kate and Vinnie, of course, with a lot of subtle touches I noticed on second viewing.

I think Bobby's wonderful smile and laugh made the episode for me, though. After all he's been through, the playful little boy is still in there ...
Yes, the theme did take me off guard but I liked it and what they did w/ the still shots. In fact, I loved everything about the new episode!!!
Although it did feel like they were doing an advertisement for that new skateboard.
