Fico Di Capo

with just about the only sighting of Bobby in a striped shirt, which counts as Bobby undercover as far as I'm concerned :-D
Do you know,if you translate 'Fico Di Capo' using BabelFish it comes out as 'Fig Of Head'...doesn't have quite the same ring to it,does it?

Love that striped shirt, Goren said it means fig of the Don ( Don being mafia for head-sounds better)Bebelfish is very useful for translating. Nice collage work Eliza.

I seemed to remember that Fico Di Capo is also the name of the particular fig that the old man was being fed by Chops.

Capo, which means "head", is also the title often given to Mafia bosses. Fico just means "Fig."

Fig of head? Hmm...Fico Di Capo sounds much better. LOL

Never mind what the show is titled, Bobby looked delicious! Keep the figs, I'll take the big guy eating the fig.

THIS EPISODE WAS PURE BOBBY...SETTING UP THE BAD GUYS AND WHAMMO at the end.

No back shots for me but would you just look at those shoulders.

Capo has different meanings: head, the end of a rope, or boss. The word is mostly used in relation to work. Capo is your employer or the guy who gives you orders. Fico di capo means nothing. The right form would be fico del capo, but it's just something that the writers made up.
I know that almost all italian americans can't speak italian properly, but I'd expect a little more effort when it comes to the title of an episode.

Fico di Capo = Fico (fig) Capo (Boss) Crude translation for Figs for the Boss
