That lets me connect my VCR to the computer, so, after playing around a bit I obviously had to have a go at transferring some video to the pc...then I had to cap the result :-)

The difference isn't that great, but I went from having under 30 caps from Being Human to having over 100....which led to making these too
Much clearer! I've been longing to get such a gizmo for ages, but couldn't do it 'cos my televideo doesn't have any output. But after reading my separate video recorder's instruction book more clearly, it seems it might play NTSC (it's not connected at present, so many rewirings to do to attach it) so when I try it out, if it works, I might join you.
If you could just tell me what it is you bought...
