Don't think there is anything I can say about Ole that hasn't been said before. One of my favourite VDO characters in one of my favourite films. I do sometimes wish the ending had been slightly different, but thats cos I'm an optimist at heart :-D

The first time I saw this, my friend Michelle and I were on a coach, travelling through Italy (it arrived the day we left!), headphones on, portable DVD on seat tray. I think we almost wet ourselves trying not to laugh too loudly! Would have been nice it Ole had somehow got his sight back at the end....
I love Ole, such a cutie! And he's still standing at the end of the flick, so we should count our blessings. But I kind of like to imagine he bumps his head, and his sight miraculously returns.
My favorite VDO flick after The Whole Wide World. So many wonderful witty and funny scenes in this one, but my all time favorite is when Ole is describing his -- how shall I say this politely -- "bathroom experience." One of these days I'm going to devote a post on my blog to that very scene. Wonderful movie...I may have to watch it again this weekend. Thanks for the great collages, Eliza.
i'm not fond of scatalogical humour but this one has me in stitches; i felt the same as mauigirl... really thought it would end with a miracle, but still great entertainment - and great pics eliza

A great caracter, and sooo cute Vincent in that role!!Which woman would want to teach Ole to learn how to "see" with his hands!!;)))
I adore Olee! Vincent's gorgeous and his acting is great. I also think he does comedy really well.

I hoped he'd get his sight back too...But, why do I think Vincent wouldn't have been happy with that ending?
Ole, Ole, OLE, OLEEE!
