Steal This Movie



As much as I admire Abbie and his ideals, I do end up feeling very sorry for Anita too, having to be seperated from him for so long.

On a lighter note, I think the R1 dvd of this has the best commentary track of any VDO dvd :-D

abbie did seem a bit selfish with both the women in his life. the doco. i watched by the FBI tell a very different story to the film.x

And (IMO) Abbie wasn't selfish at all. He always tried to protect his family.

I felt sorry for Anita and admired her....It takes a Very strong woman to share your husband with another woman And a political cause. I don't think I could be that strong.

I agree Eliza, listening to Vincent having a thoroughly great time on the commentary is certainly worth getting the R1 DVD for :0)

I can imagine that living with(or without!) the real Abbie was quite 'challenging'....

His laugh in the commentary was just wonderful. If I hadn't been madly in love with him before I listened to it, I would have been afterwards.

The laugh......especially when Jeanine(sp?) asked about, shall we say, "smoking".
