You're so right Eliza...No way you can pick just one!

But...Would it be horrible of me to say....I hope I never see Vincent at the Academy Awards?!

hey, can i add pooh-bear and private pyle to that list?
and if there weren't a codex that you have to be at least 80 to get one, i'd give vincent a lifetime achievement award. you deserve it, vinnie! ;)

I think Vincent would saw off his own head rather than be at the Academy Awards..waaaaay too 'establishment' for our baby (thank god!) but it hacks me off that the one time (to my knowledge) he was nominated (for WWW) he was meticulously ignored.

I would love to see him at the Academy Awards, receiving his own Oscar. It would be good for him. He says he likes to do things that challenge him, well this sure would. And he'd be just fine.

Don't forget Olee; it takes a lot of skill to play a blind person convincingly!!

I think at some point he should get a Lifetime Achievement Oscar, but yeah, I do think he'd be somewhat uncomfortable getting on stage and making a speech.

I would love to see him all dressed up, looking as dashing as we all know he can, accepting an award for something he invested himself heart and soul in... but I think he would probably hate all the shmoozing and brown nosing.

We should just hold our own relaxed and laid back ceremony - Vincent wouldn't have to dress at all! ;) - and give him our own award...

Lisa - top suggestion!

We know he's the best ever everything, but it would be nice to see him get the proper recognition.

And did he even get a mention in the Sexiest People Ever To Have Lived? Angelina Jolie - PLEASE!

The Hollywood 'in' crowd just doesn't get it. Vincent is perfect and as fine an actor as there ever was. He doesn't need recognition from a bunch of phoney balonys.

I doubt that "Whole Wide World" was released in enough cinemas to qualify for the Oscars, but it really is such an Oscar-worthy role.

Some people seem to think that he actually won an Oscar for Full Metal Jacket anyway ;-)
